Chaos is Purple Flavored

Brackeys Game Jam 2021.2

About:

Worked in a 4 person team to create a game with the theme "Let There Be Chaos" within 1 week using Unity's game engine. I handled the programming of the movement and behavior for the player, minions, and villager NPCs. Additionally I assisted in some prop modeling and connecting free animations to the models.

Game Description:

Our game is about a character that spreads chaos with his magic obelisk and summons minions to disrupt the villages he visits. The chaos appears as a purple overlapping material that slowly envelops its surroundings and drives villagers to madness as it spreads. The Player can move a single floating obelisk around to corrupt new areas, as well as upgrade the strength of the corruption caused by the obelisk and minions based upon total corruption acquired.

Around the Jungle

Ludum Dare 47

About:

Worked in a 2 person team to create a game with the theme "Stuck In A Loop" within 72 hours using Unity's game engine. I handled the programming and some art for this game.

Game Description:

A jungle explorer gets ensnared by crazy jungle plants and struggles to escape. The Player clicks and drags their mouse to launch the player opposite the drag direction in an attempt to break free from sticky plant tongues. As you traverse the loop/spiral shaped level, being trapped by every plant along the way, you make your way to a wall of tongues that deposit you at the beginning of another loop (Restarts level). Completing circuits rewards the player with extra stretchiness when racing against the clock to the end.

Monster Jam

 UWB Summer Game Jam

About:

My team and I had 48 hours to create a game around the theme "I'm Lost"; we used Unity's Game Engine. The 4 of us worked remotely on this and made heavy use of Google Drive for documentation and Unity Collab for syncing our projects and version control.

Game Description:

This game is a short experience with a spooky theme. Featuring a collection of small handcrafted and helpful creatures, the player follows along with the narration of a talking Key creature as you find your way through 3 uniquely crafted zones to find your way from this strange dimension. There are a total of 4 creature that can be found and then swapped between to use their individual abilities to traverse some scattered puzzles and obstacles to advance.

Temple of the Masks

Global Game Jam 2016

About:

Worked as member of a 5 person team to create a game within 48 hours  with the Theme of "Ritual" and a "pacifist" challenge. This was my first successful Game Jam team and was very exciting to participate in. Textures sourced from cgtextures.com.

Game Description:

Working off the theme of "Ritual" and going for the "Pacifist" challenge, in which there must be no violence in the game, my team and I worked on a Mask Collection game. The player must travel to different Temples and solve their puzzles to obtain each of the 4 Masks which are then brought back to a central Temple and placed in the appropriate slots.
